West Baton Rouge Museum History Summer Camp 2017

BRWC Club Members Mark Monistere, Bob Bewick, Doug Morgan and Terry Landry participated in the West Baton Rouge Museum history summer camp that was themed “Tales from the Bayou”. They showed a model of how the Acadians may have constructed their house frames using no nails. Over the course of two days, about eighty 6 to 12 year old kids viewed this model. They also got to use some hand tools such as a brace and bit, eggbeater drill and watch a hand plane being used to peel a shaving off with their name.
